Gin-uary back on Hobart waterfront

Gin-uary Hobart will return to Princes Wharf 1 next weekend, marking its ninth year on Hobart’s waterfront.

Running across January 17 and 18, the two-day festival has become Tasmania’s flagship spirits event, featuring more than 25 distillers and over 100 spirits.

Festival Director Nicole Fisher said the event remains popular because it continues to evolve each year.

“No two Gin-uary festivals are ever the same,” she said. “The industry is constantly changing, with new distillers and fresh ideas emerging.”

Fisher said the festival is designed to create a direct connection between attendees and spirit makers, from well-known brands to newcomers launching their first products.

Visitors can also enjoy local food vendors, festival-exclusive offers and limited releases across three four-hour sessions.

General admission tickets are $75 plus booking fees, with VIP tickets priced at $115 plus booking fees.
